Boolean Operators can save your search!

One of the things I teach most often and that students rarely know at all are what Boolean Operators are and how they work.

You've probably used them without knowing it: you will find them in the advance search feature of library catalogues and on all bibliographic databases.

To explain how they work, a good video's much more efficient than any length of text, so here is a useful and short (less than three minutes) video I found on YouTube that will tell you anything you need to know about Boolean Operators.
